Day 1 - Arrival
|
|
Pick up from airport and transfer to Split ferry harbor. An hour ferry transfer to Supetar harbor and with a van to Sutivan (20 min). After settling in the rooms, introduction to the program and a walk through Sutivan with a guide.

Day 2 - Bobovišća - Ložišća walk
|
|
Sutivan-Bobovišća-Ložišća-Franz Joseph Bridge-Sutivan
After breakfast walk starts near to a small picturesque fishing village Bobovišća luka where you can take a break for sightseeing and swimming (weather permitting). Continuing slightly uphill to old village of Bobovišća and shortly after that to Lozišća with a most beautiful belfry on the island. After short break continuing over the bridge of Franz Joseph crossing the gorge. The last part of the walk takes through olive groves mainly downhill back to Sutivan.

Day 3 - Gažul-Vidova Gora
|
|
Gažul-Vidova Gora
After breakfast van transfer to old shepard's village Gažul on Vidova gora. A walk starts through the forest of black pines and continues over Trolokve area with natural cisterns of water for sheep and horses. Arrival to the highest peak of all Adriatic islands, Vidova gora with a beautiful view to the south side of island Brac and other islands of Middle Dalmatia. After a break for sightseeing and taking photos, van transfer back to Sutivan.

Day 4 - Day for optional activities
|
|
Free day for optional activities such as: excursion to Split and visit to the Diocletian palace, seakayak tour, rent a bike, rent a scooter (not in the price) or just enjoying free time and taking a swimm. Dinner is also free for you to try different restaurants in the village and on your own cost.

Day 5 - Stone quarry to Splitska
|
|
Stone quarry - Škrip - Sutivan
Short van transfer near to the stone quarry of world known stone (White house in Washington). After a break and sightseeing of the quarry continuing crossing the valley and coming to Škrip, the oldest settlement on the island (3000 years old). In this village which was Illyrian, Roman and then Croatian there are many things to visit as well as the Museum of island history. The walk continues to a lovely coastal village Splitska. A coffee or drink break in the local cafe bar and chance for a swim weather permitting. Transfer back to Sutivan.

Day 6 - Blaca monastery
|
|
Visit to Blaca monastery
Transfer to a point on Vidova gora mountain. A walk along the shady picuresque path to Monastery Blaca which is an exeptional sight built in cliffs and has an interesting history.
Continuing walking through the gorge to the south side of the island to the beautiful lonley pebble beach hidden in the pine forest. Break for lunch and swimming. Boat transfer along the south coast to Golden horn, the most beautiful beach in Croatia; walk to Bol and finally van transfer to Sutivan.

Day 7 - Day for optional activities
|
|
Free day for optional activities such as: excursion to Split and visit to the Diocletian palace, seakayak tour, rent a bike, rent a scooter (not in the price) or just enjoying free time and taking a swimm. In the evening hours group's final celebration dinner with your guide.

Day 8 - Departure
|
|
Transfer to ferry and further to the airport
|

DIFFICULTY LEVEL
This programme is suitable for easy walkers or not so experienced walkers as well as for families with kids (not younger than 7). Choosing this programme you will have a chance to see the most interesting places on the island Brac with a guide who will introduce you to history, every day life, flora, fauna etc.
You don't need to be extremely active but reasonable standard of fitness will allow you to make the most of it.
All walking days in this programme are designed with the beginner in mind.
It is suitable for anyone who enjoys regular exercise and is fit enough to undertake walking. We'll often be far from civilisation, so your general health must be good, and able to withstan bad weather if necessary. Summer day temperatures can affect the level of difficulty.
This tour is lead by one experienced leader who will walk with you, sorting out first aid needs and handling all the trip logistics.
